The best place to find out more information about our finances, including charts showing how our funding has changed over the years, is at our charity commission page.
Our Funders
Thank you to everyone who has and continues to fund us to carry out our work. Like most small charities, funding is a continual challenge – please see our Donate page if you would like to help us address this.
We currently receive grants from:
- The Home Office
- The Ministry of Justice
- Sussex Police Crime Commission
- Brighton and Hove County Council
- Lloyds TSB Foundation
- Sussex Community Foundation
Working in partnership with the NHS
In addition to those above, we receive some funding through Brighton & Hove Trauma Clinical Pathway. Brighton & Hove Trauma Clinical Pathway is a funded partnership between the NHS (Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust), Mankind, Rise, and Survivors Network.
The pathway supports people who present with trauma reactions as a result of rape, sexual violence and abuse and domestic violence and abuse
Thank you
Mankind would like to express a huge thank you to those that have enabled the continuation of our specialist therapeutic services since 2000. That not only includes the supporters listed above but also all those that have made anonymous donations and those that donate through giving their time, energy, passion and belief such as our dedicated team of counsellors and the Trustees of the charity, without whom none of what we do would be possible.
